hard to find place...

it was outdoors,

when we arrived...

almost everyone's face was oily,

cos it was hot

make up was kind of smudged.

i went to a prom without make up.

Gong De in mandarin

there was not much general information about it

but it is a ceremony conducted on the

benefits of the deceased

to help them get ready for the next phase of life.

the ideal case is that the deceased

passed away in peace.

we were there early(before 0900)

wait, it was the monks that were late

by a freaking 6-7 hours.

i could have attended my replacement class *whines*

so anyways, we went for brunch and

came back to the hall and waited

by folding the silver and gold paper...

in our case, this ritual was done for

my paternal grandfather and paternal 4th uncle

earlier it was being told that the ideal situation is

going-in-peace.

both of them passed away one

in an accident, another was gunned-down

so there was bloodshed.

It was raining heavily.

It was almost 9 in the night.
he came home exhausted from a long day's work in the office,
the day was frustrating...

because the routine was as heavy as it was,
added with the boss's demands that sound like they need forever.

Almost drenched...after the hell he just went through

in the traffic congestion on the way home,
he stepped into the house..

wishing that there would be someone to ask him how's his day..
hoping that he'll get to hug her,

looking forward to a dinner with her to tell her about his day..

But,
the house was empty.
he could even hear his own breathing,
he looked around again...there was no one,
she was not there.

Just as he settled down after a warm bath...

he realised the sky was still pouring.
"Tonight's gonna be cold." he whispered to himself.
"Even colder without her." he thought.

Sighing, he sat down on the sofa...thinking about her.
The times both spend together along the beach,
the moment where both teased each other before going to bed,
the weekends he'd spend all day with her just looking at her face,
looking into her eyes...

he just love listening to her.
every single piece of memory seems to be flooding back.
as vividly as they just happened a few days ago...

The moment he realised that he had dozed off,
he was awaken by knockings on his door...

he checked the clock on the wall,
it was already 11. "wow."
as he dragged himself approaching the door...

i finished up

...and the other wise. have u ever wondered how it actually make sense? i'm pretty sure almost everyone has felt like this before, the feeling of something amiss, with a little sense of lost and regret.

yesterday i was at the wedding dinner of my only godbrother, somewhere in a hotel in KL, its called Federal Hotel if i've not mistaken. i use to call him *stanley kor-kor* when i was still a kid at one point of time we were very close and he cares for me a lot. how i became his godsis? his mother was once my caregiver and she would love love love to have daughters as my godbro was her only child, only son. so both my parents agreed for me to refer her as my godmother.

throughout the dinner yesterday, i tried to recall things and events and stuff that occurred between both of us and the family...and i just realised that the memories are fading...and no that's not me and him (remembering the fact that we didn't have any photos together) as the memories are walking away i realise that he was one of the closest person to be that became the furthest one to be now. sad rite? that was my sense of loss.

i don't think we're counted as growing up together, its more like i grew up with him around...*until now i still have a really really ambiguous idea of his age* i remembered he went to London to further his studies in Oxford university, without saying goodbye and i was angry at him yet i kept asking my godmom when is he coming back...

the time he came back was the time we started to drift apart, as he gains more responsibility at work as an admin exec...we have literally never actually talk since, as everytime i visit the house, he was never in. since then, he became a stranger to me.

as i left their house at the age of 7 (i think) i was too, concentrating on the new life and pathway ahead of me in primary school, high school and now university. where i made new friends, and have new aspects of life to live with...that he, slipped off my mind. *i'm a lousy godsis i know* once in a while when i'm alone, i'd wonder how is he doing, and if he still remembers me.

the next time i hear about him from my godmom, is his marriage. i was stunned, literally. i dont know why. "he's marrying?" was what i could utter at that moment, in my mind i thought, my godbro is marrying. and i was invited to his wedding dinner. it was a grand one, they had so many creative ideas, and i find that he really adores his lady.

we couldn't talk much cos they were busy. lastly i just wanna say, he came across to me as a person who is patient (he never gets angry at me whenever i'm fooling around with him), respectful (especially to my godparents), and tidy (his room is always neat, although he had so many stuff). perhaps one of the thing that i should do when i missed out was getting to know my godbrother in person, better.

do u have anyone in ur life that u've actually missed knowing? that when u see them again that's when u realise things have changed? and the sight of them infront of u just landed u in the land of lost words?

finally things have slowed down for me to catch a breath. lately it has been really busy, is it me or am i living in the future?

28th of Feb was a long day starting from 11.30am with only 30 minutes break till 5pm, all of us was rushing to complete the assignment and then study for exam where i almost haven't had enough time to SLEEP.

29th was my birthday, yes i have only celebrated 5 birthdays in 20 years and by all of us are 80...i'd still be at my 20's hahahahahahaha. okay, with 28th ended up in a mess, on this day i had to freaking wake up at 6am and get my a** off driving to college. the traffic on federal highway was reaaaaaally slow by 6.30am - 6.45am......what are u people, bats?! i almost fell asleep with my head still looking at the lecturer at 8.

i'm supposed to meet up with someone at 10am. i screwed up. i think, 50/50. parents came at 10.15 sharp as i've mentioned, and i chose to go with them. i figured there were some discrepancies somewhere somehow, i was standing outside the cafe for 30minutes and i didn't see him at all. i threw my phone back into the bag cos i was panicking, and only realized the messages on the way to MV.

so......arrived in MV and i was the 30th person to arrive. GEOX had this thing of giving out shoes up to rm899 to leap year babies but only limited to the first 29 comers.........30th was me. its because they have 2 outlets, one in MV another in Pavillion, it was a tough decision to decide rushing to Pav cos the area was badly jammed.

we went there anyways, and turned out to be the 18th person to be there. they let me choose any shoes from the store and they had me try for the size *how nice* so in the end i got a pair of shoes worth rm499.90 for FOC. *oh btw i couldn't find any shoes more than the price of rm699 there HAHA CHEATERS* anyways i'm still happy. haha. tooties.

during lunch, jelly called me saying that they're facing troubles with the assignment and they can't finish it if i'm not there by 3.30pm. managed to get myself there at 3 something and i drove her to find a cyber cafe just because the requirement stated that they need some kinda paper-that-will-make-ur-ass-bleed-if-u-wipe-it-after-u-poo...and believe me or not there are NO cyber cafes in the area that provide that freaking paper unless we're willing to pay at least RM25 for that 50 pages. omg? forget it i'm just gonna print em for rm2 in the college. stupid. lol.

finished everything and manage to get home by 6pm with the traffic along federal highway after working hours. freaks. rested for barely 2 hours and i had to prepare to go out meeting my friends. which turned out pretty good, i miss em. i really wish that i had more time for them. i will. i promise. =D

got home by 12am...blow candles and i went.......d.e.a.d. tired. until even my breath was heavy. i thought i'd die of suffocation. haha.

chinese new year on the wayyy

ok 2008 chinese new year is around the corner in like...less than 2 weeks time? woOopz. and while the festival's arriving...ads about the chinese traditional celebration are all over since like...the end of last year's december? i'm not too sure...hehe. here's one of my DIY ads. it happened during last semester's sem break when i was working... here comes

i was having my dinner in the stock room until i find some interesting stuff as shown in the picture on the left: an orange color mixture in a bottle, an orange color bowl, an orange color box...and i stacked them up to see the differences in the color.........

orange color is bright, refreshing, sour, sweet.

well, do u see any difference? i bet if i poured the mixture in the bowl, no one would actually notice there is liquid in it X)

the orange color is one of the most favorable color especially when it comes to the chinese new year cos it resembles the mandarin oranges "ju zi" in chinese or "kat" in cantonese...that are believed to be able to bring good luck to people. one of the many beliefs among the Chinese and it is being spread to other cultures as well...

anywayyyyyy....i wanna post a question: can the color of the mixture be the same as the bowl and the box...other than using the similar coloring material used in creating em?

OWW...yeah i'm about to reveal the name of the mixture...probably all of u already made ur guess or already knew what it is...anyway, it appeared in the recent TV ads together with mandarin oranges =P.the mixture. is a drink. be ur own judge, it brings luck or the otherwise =P. my ad is to condemn the one on the TV ok...

e.g. u're wearing this very very beautiful white blouse on the 1st day of chinese new year, everyone noticed and gave their compliments on how u look with that gorgeous piece...and suddenly.........at ur relative's house, u accidentally spill some MIRINDA orange drink on ur blouse. u feel devastated cos u know the stain can't be easily removed, perhaps impossible to, without destroying the whole material with bleaching products...

if its so impossible to remove it from a fabric...imagine from flesh and blood? LOL.

last Sunday was 30th December

probably u guys are wondering what's up with 30th of December instead of 31st...

on that day itself was my last day of work at KN Key Ng, at Subang Parade...after almost 2-3 months of work. i met great friends there, good people...am gonna post the photos of these people cos this is one of the bigger things of me in 2007.

my semester break was fun because of them. presenting...

picture on the left: Cheryl, Su Yi (daisy duck!) and Rach, Chin Chin (i think she's minnie mouse). i'll leave the age-guessing to u pple =P... Cheryl, still studying...she came to work as a part timer with another friend whom i'll introduce after this. She's hyper, crazy, friendly, independent, thoughtful...a great friend, but girl i think ur receiving tremendous pressure from ur family on ur academic results...poor thing.

and Rach, is the supervisor of the shop =). in conclusion, u'll never find a retail store supervisor like her =P, its obvious from the picture...she started working since she was 17 after her high school life was over, so she's not that old ya =X. She's caring, understanding, fun to be with, calm, good at handling stuff, experienced...and to me i think she needs to work a lil bit more with dealing stress cos that's the thing that makes her paranoid =P. loves otak-otak from johor, loves taking self-portrait, etc etc. really great person to know...

picture to the right: Dianne, Sook Jinn (mashi maro!) and her sister Lydia, i didn't get her last name sorry ya... Dianne's the one that came into the work with Cheryl, they're both same age, both single and available *wink wink* well she's hyper, love to laugh, cute, sense of humor is there, fun to be with, and she can cook!

as for Lydia, i've heard she has alot of names so i'm gonna use this cos this is the one i was told by her...i've only seen her for like twice throughout the whole period...all i can say about her is she's cute and friendly.

here comes the new year 2008 and again the number 2007 is 365 days past. the year 2008 promises a lot of new adventures, new relationships, new marriages, new people coming into the world (babies la =P) etc etc. anyways, i hereby wish everyone a Happy New Year 2008! may all your wishes come true this year, and all resolutions effectively executed *blek*

whats done or said in year 2007 should be left there and then...as memories ofcourse (not to mean forget everything), whats unfinished should be continued and be completed as soon as possible because we dont wanna be lingering all over the past when all others already taken their steps to the fruitful future...so now...i'm gonna finish posting on the indonesia trip of mine...and also a little of others as well =D sorry people for the delay *minta ampun* haha...so here goes the pictures! (*note: the pictures are too many, those that i have not put into my blogposts i'll compile it into flickr so you people can browse them from there kayyyy *winks*)

okay now, after the bath...*hotspring bath: incase of some memory lost cos i was lost for quite sometime*...we head on to this restaurant...an authentic indonesian restaurant *its too long ago i've forgotten the name but its on the way down from puncak bandong. [1st] is a scenery taken when i was inside the restaurant [2nd] is the basket *i think* they use to put the rice, cute?

and desserts came 1st after we placed our orders =). same here i forgot what exactly is this called but it is a sweet sweet mixture of coconut milk and tapai (rice wine)...it tasted really nice but its rather sweet for those who cannot take sweet food. [1st]..ly, its what they call ''The Flying Fish''...i have no idea how they fried it til it became like that but claims alot of people this dish taste good and it is one of the most famous in certain areas of bandong. to me it tasted weird, but its okay if it is eaten with its special sauce (the hand is there taking it =x)

[2nd]..ly, is paku-pakis cooked with fried ikan-bilis...to me this tasted best...although its kinda salty. you can also opt for the spicy one which is cooked with sambal belacan. and nearby (those that looks like foundation mousse cake) is called Tempeh (i dunno the correct spelling but its pronounced like that)...its made with mixed nuts if i've not mistaken, mom said this is healthy but it tasted real salty to me.

[3rd]..ly. is a combination of...part of...what we had on the table (paiseh wanna keep taking photos cos its taking up others time so they had to wait for me to finish taking photos)

[1st picture] some ginger drink mixed with honey (erm...not nice!) [2nd picture] is a bowl of strawberries served with melted chocolate, something like what you'd get from a chocolate fountain counter but this is............strawberries.

i've not been blogging for almost 43 days and i almost forgotten my password -shrugs- now continue on with the Bandong trip...i won't be explaining much...i'll just post up some pictures and add some captions ekay...sorry for the really late delay >_<... okay...above is some park i forgot it's name...but it's a cultural park where all kinds of different buildings are displayed...that time when i went there were not much because it was a weekday and most of the stuff are only opened during weekends, holidays... this was one of the building...i wish i owned it =P...

this is the night view of the mini park in Resto Pak Chi Met...we literally sticked to the food there the whole of our trip cos we can't find any better than that =))...

what we had on the 2nd day was almost the same...except for these few items...[1st] lemonade punch drink (this is nice)...[2nd] baked macaroni and cheese [3rd]...is the close up LOL...this one's not bad...it looks special but it tasted nothing really new...and it was quite tawar also...tasteless...

and the above 3 pictures are photos of the volcano crate from the top of the mountain...very nice right...? teehehe...its very cold up the hill...i forgot the volcano's real name but i think its called Puncak Bandong...

[1st] so we head down to the volcano...in search for some hotsprings (as in real ones) ...on the way there...the scenery is...fantastico! pretty rite [2nd] my sis captured a real spider web...that hasn't fell off due to the amount of water drops on it...by this time our camera is dead...no battery already so she used my PHONE. hahahaha. [3rd] is captured when we reached the end of our journey...the hotsprings!!! well that's my sister and i'm still trying to safeguard my safety...it is believed that some of the hotsprings can go up to 60-80 degree celcius!...eggs anyone? =D

gosh. i've almost decided to quit blogging. yes, again. hahahaha, but in the end i didn't la cos i'll feel guilty =P. i can't believe i've not blogged for like...a month? exactly ONE month. compared to previous times when i update my blog for almost every day.

anyways, there are alot of stuff that happened in the month. i'm not gonna be able to update all of em in one post so i'm gonna drag for a few... =) so stay with me okay. so the most significant part of the previous month was my trip to Paris... ... ...hahahaha. okay lah, actually it was Bandong in Indonesia.

Here are some of the pictures of the trip on day 1~

the 1st photo was the 1st thing i noticed in the duty free store in KLIA airport, Chivas! pretty rite? teehehe, the prices for alcoholic drinks here are at least 20-50 rm cheaper than market price...from what i see lah. 2nd photo i took when we were on the way walking to MY PLANE. hahahahahaha. manage to catch d photo before i had to off my phone.

the flight took us approximately 2 hours...and both photos above are the description of the room...my parents had a room for themselves with a queen-sized bed while my sis and i had a similar one, difference is we had 2 single beds. the food and drinks provided are free =P in the room lah. hahaha. not bad aight. still got ASTRO to watch. btw, the name of the hotel was Hotel Sukajadi in Bandong.
the next important thing we had to worry about was...F-o-o-D! we didn't have the mood to travel off so far to get food since all of us were too hungry and angry cos we just got conned by some cab driver for the taxi fee (ask me for further info) hahaha. we came to this restaurant opposite of our hotel. Resto Pak Chi Met. sounds weird haha but dont ask me i dont know what it means either. anyways......i'm missing the food there okay. so...coffee for 5,000 anyone up for it? XD
[1st] is my lunch on the 1st day, Rojak Buah. it was good, because they used potatoes...was really sweet and crunchy. u can opt for the spicy one, but that...if u choose to challenge how far u can go taking spicy food. cos its really...i mean, really spicy. [2nd] is my drink...its called Pak Chi Met's special drink...i dont know what kind of fruits n veggie r mixed together but it tasted good after weird. hahaha. =) [3rd] is mini kerangs...i didn't taste this but all the others claimed it was the best of the restaurant hehe. [4th] is what almost everyone had for lunch, set meal...35,000 hahahahaha. anyway it was really nice and filling. so far this is the best restaurant we've been to in the city.
dinner on the same day...there were alot more but i didn't have the chance to snap pictures cos everyone was h-u-n-g-r-y lolz. [1st] ulam...with sambal =) healthy. [2nd] is rice cooked with eggs and cucumber...hehehe weird but nice =X [3rd] garlic prawn...this one tasted kinda normal and weird too. the best thing during dinner was my drink...too bad i forgot to take it down in a photo, it was a 3 layered coffee X3X3.

the next 2-3 days of the trip is TO BE CONTINUED... ... ... ... ...stay tuned.

the meet up yesterday was really nice...it was one of the happier times =D. especially laying under the sky...there were no stars on the sky, nevertheless there was one on the ground, whom my head was resting on... ... ...

i just wanna say thanks for everything, and sorry for anything i've said or did mistakenly that have hurt u somehow.

dont think i'm trying to nag. i just wanna keep saying in case it becomes too late one day. that i really appreciate and is grateful of having u around to love and be loved by u.

cash...i really miss u and i still do. perhaps some people might think its kinda dumb to keep hanging on to something that i know very well might never come back to me again.

everytime i think of u, i'd still remember times when ur still around...proudly walking side by side with me and be there for me when no one is around. thoughts that'd make my eyes filled with warm liquid.

if u are still somewhere out there, i wish so bad ur still safe and sound. u're always with me. i.love.you.both.

u people just gotta believe me. they are alive. one of them just injured my hand when i tried to lift her with one of my hand going under her skirt at her 'vagina'. now i have like 1 really cool scar on my left hand thanks to her...(yes everyone laughed when i shouted for help...oww oww oww rachel my hand my hand!! got 'clipped' by her private part~) MANNEQUINS ARE ALIVE.

sorry babe i had to put my hand there cos that's the only place that i can think of so that i could lift u up easier. hahahaha. thanks for the bite tho. it HURTS.baby cash, where could you possibly be? please don't leave me alone...i still miss u very dearly.

i saw Key Ng today, appeared to not be a friendly person. haha. but he has grown alot thinner.

i hope these days can pass faster, my legs are hurting still...and i wanna really rest, like what others are doing...

i still remember. it was raining heavily...and i needed to get myself to my work place. it was a Monday, i was suppose to work in the afternoon shift...so it started at 1 pm... ... ... ... ... ...sometimes rain can be really pretty, as it is one of the element of life =) i caught these picts when i was on the way to work in my dad's car. heh. i hope it can calm uncomfortable souls.

ekay, erm...i know i'm alot of days back with this blog. sorry ladies n gentlemen. here are some updates kay =D so far, work has been fun for me...i know i'm very lucky to be where am i now. although not as lucky as some, or very very lucky compared to some. anyways, Hari Raya Aidilfitri is approaching...and as the festival season is just around the corner...

i caught this when i heard really loud raya songs sung with the microphone...i think this was the rehearsal. those kids have really good voices and are really talented. according to my friend they were some bintang kecil for a tv channel, i think it was tv9.

although they have nice voices and talented skills, they were too loud! *_* seriously. our eardrums were like gonna bleed. sorry lil ones =). but ur voices were awesome, really stable...

anyways those were also the set up in subang parade for hari raya. i guess its not completed yet since the stuff are only ''bones-like". teehe.

okey urm next. yesterday i went to Jabatan Imigresen Negara to renew my passport. I AM GOING TO PARIS! =D. can u believe that? i'm actually going to Bandung, Indonesia. hahaha.

but its not at all bad ler. i heard that the place is a heaven for shopaholics i'm just describing my sister hahahaha. so yeah, on the left is an illustration of the place. btw...they were so much more efficient than where they use to be (have to wait for at least 2 weeks for a passport to be completed). so no worries, now...u can have it within 24 hours. =) cheers for this part of malaysia teehehehe. btw this is the centre located in subang.

next...would be my trip to this place just to kill time while waiting for the completion of the passports...

...=) i figured that this place is familiar to almost all of malaysians. the place who had recently completed the addition of a new wing to the original building. Sunway Pyramid.

went there to have lunch and walk around...so... ... ... ...here's yesterday's lunch![1st]my set: it's called O'Viet Seafood Special "Pho Hai San", it's a mildly spicy soup filled with fish fillets, prawns, deep fried shrimpballs, and squid...really nice, and it also comes with a plate of fresh vegetables, like 'ulam' in the malay style. [2nd]my mom's: i dunno what exactly this is but, it's chicken mixed with a special gravy together with veggies and meehoon...she claims its delicious. [3rd]my dad and my sis's: lemongrass chicken with rice...the chicken was good as it was fresh and tender...also the taste of lemongrass just made everything better still...[4th]the appetizer, just like popiah with loads of veggies in it...and it doesn't easily tore apart since the outer layer is really strong...really nice and crunchy =)...and i forgot to take the photo of my drink: a mixture of fresh egg, soda and cream

it was a Vietnamese restaurant. so...the menu, the settings, and the place. sorry didn't get the exact address but it's in the old wing somewhere nearby a floor above the ice rink. give it a try, i think its abit more healthy compared to alot of other cuisines available in here. =)

also...the changes i found in the building...

the toilets! i dunno whether am i the one outdated cos i've not been to the place for sometime since the last time i went...but i find the toilets have been made really nice? i hope it would be maintained the cleanliness though its beautiful teehe. i'm not sure if all toilets look the same, cos i only been to one so far. haha so this is it.

last but not least, i got my renewed passport...worked alot...i'm happy that i have someone to spend time coming to see me after work (although in the end i had to rush back to get my phone)...i hope to be able to get a car of my really really OWN...by end of next year or hopefully before i graduate =).

today i started work at 10 am in the morning shift. cleaned the place with my supervisor Rachel (Rach) and changed to working clothes. today's crowd was good, almost uplifting =). we were busy all morning giving our best services to the customers. teehe, so it was fun! time passes faster when we're occupied...new mannequins came in today! and we had to wear clothes for them, and fix em all up...it was fun cos Rach didn't know how to place one of the leg in place so the doll can be sitting cross-legged =x

work is good so far, nice people...fun companions. although sometimes it can be bored as hell, but we can pull it through. we have a wonderful supervisor, she's amazing...but quite bad at concentrating in several things at once. teehe.

NO ONE MADE A SOUND. we went there anyhow, just cos my sister wants to watch movie and eat assam laksa for dinner. -pout- here are some shots...[1st] my dinner yesterday: my fav orange juice, assam laksa (which i couldn't finish almost 3/4 of it) and fish pops. [2nd] some cute thing on the wall i snapped while waiting for the princess (my sis) to finish using d washroom. [3rd] on the way back.

the movie we watched titled: I NOW PRONOUNCE YOU CHUCK AND LARRY.a movie directed by Dennis Dugan starring 2 main characters: Adam Sandler as Charles Levine(Chuck) and Kevin James as Lawrence Valentine(Larry) each in white and black in the above pict. oh by the way...the 2nd pict guy, is my fav character...Rob Schneider as the uncredited Asian Minister in the movie whom i can't even recognise him in these appearance. go watch! not gonna tell anything here! =)

iya people! Finals Overrrrr~! hahaha. it ended with pengajian malaysia. cheers to all my friends, all the very best when the results r out =x, and have a wonderful semester break =). ok here are some updates, i went to an event on the last sunday (23rd) yeah. that's one day before my last paper. haha. don't ask. the place, is Bukit Jalil National Stadium. erm. yeah i know it sounds weird for me to be there. neways...(1st) its the carpark, 2 hours earlier before the event starts. (2nd) further view of the entrance. (3rd) close up on entrances, and the crowd.both these picture are taken of the amount of people in the stadium, approx. 1 1/2 hour before the event starts. u be the judge =x.

right beside is what we call the pom-pom sticks. there is a straw for u 2 blow air into the stick. blow HARD. they always come in pairs. later will show.

the event name is The 20th Year Anniversary Celebration of E. Excel International. =) there were estimated a total amount of about 15k viewers that day. and 3 weeks before this event, complimentary tickets are given out...total 5k tickets given out FOC, original price of the tickets is RM50 per piece ekay. well...malaysians. hahaha.

nah, my pair of the pom-poms'...if not enough air, when u bump it together got no sound effect one kay. =D.

the performers were very talented. each and everyone of them. and the event was tremendously beautiful and irreplacable with words.
